Last week on Woman's Hour we discussed a new report which said that some lads mags should be given a 16 or 18 certificate to ensure children can’t get hold of them. The Top Shelf report says some newsagents ignore guidelines and allow magazines like Nuts and Zoo to be displayed where children can see them. There was an overwhelming response to the item including Jean from Liverpool who raised her concerns about pornographic magazines 40 years ago.
