Keeping in touch with work while you're on maternity leave 19 Mar 2007
New measures are coming into force aimed at improving communication between women on maternity leave and their employers. The Work and Families Act includes changes which mean that women will be able to go back to work for up to 10 ‘Keeping In Touch’ days while they’re on maternity leave.

Jim Fitzpatrick MP - the Minister responsible for these new provisions - joins Martha in the studio to discuss whether the changes will help women prepare for the return to their workplace.
