What impact does a traumatic experience have on a young child? If they've suffered bereavement and then have to undergo hospital treatment, what effect might that earlier experience have on their young mind? As part of Radio 4's Memory Season, Jenni is joined by Mark Howe, Professor of Development Psychology at Lancaster University and Joanne Morris-Smith, a consultant chartered psychologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital's Traumatic Stress Clinic. BBC - Radio 4 Memory Experience - Homepage Disclaimer
