Countryside
Rural bliss or unfriendly backwater?

Columnist Liz Jones fell in love with a remote part of Britain - the Exmoor National Park - and she decided to move there with just animals for company to a large farmhouse with land. Renowned for her lack of discretion she spares no punches when it comes to her sojourn in the countryside.  Columnist Jane Alexander, another ex-townie now living in Exmoor, has written a passionate riposte to what she sees as Liz Jones’s unfair depiction of life there.   They join Jane to explore the pros and cons and why and wherefores of moving to the countryside.
