What can Darwin's letters tell us about his atttiude to gender?
Darwin’s views on sexual selection continue to influence the debate over how different men and women really are. Now a study of his correspondence will shed light on his private thoughts, revealing what kind of relationships he had with the women in his family. Professor Jim Secord and Dr Alison Pearn - both from the Darwin Correspondence Project - join Jenni to talk about what they hope to find, as they begin to comb the archive.Darwin projectDisclaimer
