Single women in their 40s wanting families 21 Apr 2009
Project to advise mature single women who want to become mothers

What options are open to you when you are forty, single and want to have a child? Paula Moore was in a relationship when she started to think about having children. When the relationship broke down she decided to continue with her plans to have a baby. Paula discovered there was little information for women in a similar situation so set about providing some. Jane  is joined by Paula and Dr Carole Gillings-Smith, a Consultant Gynaecologist to discuss the issues.    We also hear from Faye Macrory, who decided to go it alone, and has an 11 year old son.
