Clog dancing 29th January 2009
A modern interpretation of an old tradition

Clog dancing grew up in the mining and industrial communities of northern England , where people wore inexpensive and hardwearing lace up shoes with wooden soles. If you've seen clog dancing performed live, it will almost certainly have been by women and it probably looked quite genteel. But all that is quite in contrast to clog dancing's origins.
