Report highlights barriers to women becoming judges
A report published today, comissioned by the Judicial Executive Board, has shown that issues around the appointment of women to the judiciary still exist. The review, written by Professor Dame Hazel Genn, shows that women are put off by the reality of men still being predominate in senior ranks; that women are concerned about being isolated at the top and that there are also few female role models. Hazel Genn joins Jenni to discuss the issues. |
