Taking your partner to the Christmas party 18 Dec 2008
How to party with the boss…and your partner!

It's that time of year again and the Christmas parties are in full swing. While for many the party is an excuse to let your hair down, have a gossip and spend the night propping up the bar, the fun and frolics can often be dampened by a dreaded invitation to bring your ‘plus one’. So do you relish the opportunity to bring your partner along to the ‘office do’ or does the mere thought of your other half standing round making stilted small-talk with your boss fill you with dread? Sue Carroll, columnist for The Mirror, and Phil Hilton, editorial director of Shortlist magazine, join Jenni to share their own office party horror stories and offer tips to help your survive the party season.
