Down's Syndrome - Listener Feedback 2 Dec 2008
Boy with Down's Syndrome
Your e-mail response to last week's discussion.

Last week on Woman’s Hour we discussed research looking into the number of babies born with Down’s Syndrome since pre-natal screening was introduced. We had a huge response, including an e-mail from Britt, whose son is five years old and has Down’s Syndrome. She told us about her positive experience. Jane also talks to Pat Ward, National Programme Director of the NHS Foetal Anomaly Screening Programme, to unpick some of the complex statistics relating to Down's syndrome birth rates.
