Last Letters to Loved Ones 20 August 2008
How we choose to say goodbye

The final letter written by someone who has died will often be treasured by their relatives and friends, and takes on a particular significance when the author knew it would be their last chance to express themselves. Jenni is joined by Rose Rouse, the author of a book that collects some of the most poignant examples from the last hundred years, and Dorothy Schwarz, whose daughter’s letter is included in the anthology.

Last Letters to Loved Ones by Rose Rouse is published by Metro Books, ISBN 978-1-84454-576-6
Behind a Glass Wall by Dorothy Schwarz is published by Chipmunka Publishing, ISBN: 1 904697 64 X
