PotFest
Cutting edge ceramics

In the mid 1990s ceramicist Chris Cox visited Eindhoven in the Netherlands to sell her work at a ‘potters' market’. She was blown away by the high artistic standard and range of exhibitors there, showing pieces usually only found in galleries in Britain. Today she's the steering force behind six annual potters' markets, showcasing cutting-edge ceramic art. Caz Graham caught up with Chris earlier this summer at her flagship festival, Potfest in the Park, near Penrith in Cumbria.
