Ann Patchett on her latest novel 'Run'.

Orange prize winning novelist Ann Patchett joins Jane to talk about her latest novel “Run”. Set over the course of 24 hours, the book tells the story of a family who need to reassess their past when an accident brings an apparent stranger into their lives. Ann will be discussing her choice of themes such as the invisibility of the poor in modern society, nature vs. nurture and a mother's enduring love for her children and also why she’s waited six years since the worldwide success of “Bel Canto” to publish again.

'Run' by Ann Patchett,  published by Bloomsbury 28th Aug 2007 ISBN: 978 0 7475 9114 6 £14.99
