Alliums 3 May 2007
Apparently if there is one plant that is a ‘must have’ in a fashionable garden it’s an Allium. They’re more commonly known as ornamental onions and stand tall with a large round head. They bloom throughout the summer months. Felicity Finch went to meet the Gardening writer and Television Presenter Sarah Raven. She’s long been a fan of the Allium as was evident in her garden at Perchhill Farm in East Sussex.
