Guerilla Girls 2 Apr 2007
In a world obsessed with celebrity it's unusual to find performers who prefer to remain anonymous. But one group of feminist performers from the States does just that. Guerrilla Girls on Tour is an internationally acclaimed theatre collective founded by three former members of the American women's action group the Guerrilla Girls. The group are from New York and use comedy to tackle sexism, racism and discrimination. Lizz Pearson met them at the renovated Toynbee theatre in Whitechapel in East London.
