Superfoods: Linseed 23 Jan 2007
Linseeds are one of the healthiest foods you can eat. Known as “nature’s HRT” they contain phyto-oestrogens, and are also high in omega 3 fatty acids. You have to be organised, though, because you do need to soak them overnight. In the latest in our series on superfoods, Claudia Hammond met Suzi Grant, author of Alternative Ageing, in a healthfood shop to find out why linseeds are so special.

Alternative Ageing: The natural Way to Hold back the years  by Suzi Grant is published by Michael Joseph, ISBN: 0718148460.
