 Even in the world of cyber space it seems that men and women are communicating differently. A study of emails has shown a marked difference in how the sexes write. Women’s emails tend to be more flowery – men get to the point. The differences could have repercussions on how the sender is perceived – men can be wrongly seen as rude or abrupt, whereas women may not be taken seriously because they take longer to get to the point.
