Beyond the Rubble 6 October 2006
One year ago Pakistan was struck by an earthquake that killed 79,000 people. More than two million people lost their homes. Many families are still homeless and many of them now live in camps.

Zafar Shah and his mother Parveen travelled from Bradford to Pakistan in search of loved ones who were caught up in the disaster...

Listeners can find out more about the experieinces of those affected by the earthquake in It's My Story - Beyond the Rubble, which goes out on Radio 4 at 13.30 this Sunday.
