Ladies of Leisure 07 Aug 2006
In Stephen Sondheim’s musical Company the character of Joanne sings a toast to the 'ladies who lunch’ and their lifestyle. In a recent Young Woman and Work Survey by New Woman Magazine, 30% of those interviewed don't want to work at all and 69% don’t want to work as hard as their mothers did. Their most envied woman is Victoria Beckham.

So how do Ladies of Leisure really spend their time and do working women belittle them because they secretly would like to be one?  Jenni discusses LOLs with Joan Burnie, Daily Record columnist and Lady Jennie Bland.
