International
Sudanese refugees 7 Jun 2006
Africa's longest running civil war came to an end last year, with the signing of a peace agreement in Sudan. During 20 years of conflict between the Islamicist northern government and southern rebel soldiers, some two million southerners fled to the northern capital Khartoum. One of the challenges facing the south is the integration of returning refugees, including many women.

Wendy Wallace went to the Sudan to meet young southerners in exile in the north and those returning to the south.
