 Is it time to ditch the dryer?
We all know it’s environmentally sound to peg out, but is the British weather a legitimate excuse for the perpetual rumble of the tumble dryer in our homes? Why do so many of us loathe drying clothes indoors? And why are many people prevented from putting lines outside? Writer Sharon Griffiths explains why she loves her washing line.
