 New study into going abroad for fertility treatment
We know that more and more women are going abroad for fertility treatment, often because of the difficulty of accessing treatment here in Britain. But what we don’t know is the detail. What are their exact reasons for going, what happens to them when they’re abroad and what are the personal implications of their quest to have a child? Now Professor Lorraine Culley from De Montfort University in Leicester is carrying out the first in depth study into why couples are packing their bags and heading abroad.
