Just how different was it growing up 50 years ago?


We go back half a century to remember what it felt like to be a child growing up in the Britain of 1950’s. Was it better or worse than childhood today? Jenni is joined by Ali Sparkes, Author of ‘Frozen In Time’, a new children’s novel set in 1956, and by social historian Christina Hardyment, herself a child of the Fifties.
