Lads Mags – 18 age limit? 9 Dec 2008
Should lads mags have an 18 certificate?

A new report says some lads mags should be given a 16 or 18 certificate to ensure children can’t get hold of them. The Top Shelf report says some newsagents ignore guidelines and allow magazines like Nuts and Zoo to be displayed where children can see them. Jane speaks to Labour MP, Claire Curtis-Thomas about why she commissioned this report and her two-year campaign for tougher action and to Michael Deacon, former deputy entertainment editor Zoo magazine.
