On her new installation in theTurbine Hall
The French artist Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster has been chosen as the ninth artist to exhibit work in the enormous Turbine Hall at Tate Modern. She is known for her atmospheric works which use light, sound, photography, film and everyday objects to create ‘environments’ in which the viewer can participate. Jane visits the Tate Modern and talks to Dominique about her latest work and how she feels about receiving the commission for what is called ‘one of the art world’s biggest challenges’.
