Getting a proper job - Billy Bragg and his mum discuss parental expectations

And there’s no doubt that many of us would like to see our children in a secure, respectable professions which deliver a regular pay-packet (whatever their bohemian ambitions might be).

So spare a thought for the musician Billy Bragg’s mum who has at times suggested her son might have been better off getting a proper job, as Billy recently told Q Magazine. Billy joins us and we give his mum right of reply.
