Living with asthma 15th August 2008
Girl using an inhaler
Are women more likely to suffer from asthma, and what is the best way to cope with the condition?

New research from the US suggests that boys are more prone to childhood asthma, but they are more likely than girls to grow out of it in adolescence. So what is the reality of living with the condition and what can be done to help the 5.2 million sufferers in the UK lead a more comfortable life? Emma Skilton is in her early thirties and been asthmatic since the age of two, she joins Razia along with Dr Shuaib Nasser, an asthma specialist from Addenbrookes Hospital in Cambridge.
