 Are numbers on the increase and what can be done to help?
It is estimated that over the last few years there has been a 20% growth in the number of women over sixty admitted for rehabilitation for alcohol abuse. Alcohol misuse among older people is a largely neglected area of research in the UK and there is a lack of alcohol services for this age group.
