Sophie Hannah
From poetry to prose

Sophie Hannah’s first two crime novels were bestsellers – shifting hundreds of thousands of copies. Her third book ‘The Point of Rescue’ deals with a mother who hates motherhood, as revealed in her increasingly candid diary. She goes on to kill herself and her daughter. Or does she? Sophie will be joining me to discuss her new book and to explain how she combines novel writing with poetry – her latest collection was nominated for the TS Eliot prize – the country’s most prestigious award for poetry.
