Finding a lost father 18 Dec 2007
What's the impact of finding a father who has been lost to you for years?

When a family member has been missing from your life for years, what makes you try to find them again? Carol Anne Wallace and Julie Kenyon recently took the decision to trace their fathers – men they hadn’t seen since their early childhood. With the help of the Salvation Army family tracing service, they have each found and begun to re-establish a relationship with the man they are learning to call “dad”. But as they tell Jenni, finding your father can raise as many questions as it answers.

“Reunited”, part of the BBC Hard Christmas season, is broadcast Tuesday 18th Dec at 10.35pm on BBC1.
