It’s a tale of love, betrayal, murder and forgiveness that was first staged in Prague more than a century ago. A controversial Czech classic that inspired composer Leos Janacek to write an opera; and one that has now been adapted by award-winning playwright Timberlake Wertenbaker. She joins Miriam O’Reilly to discuss the first English language production of ‘Jenufa’.
