The Flower Girls 19 Oct 2007
Different experiences of disability

The flower girls were a group of disabled women who lived and worked at the Crippleage in north London where they made silk flowers. A new play called 'The Flower Girls' is based upon their true story.

Jane is joined by Isobel Sedgewick, one of the original flower girls and actor Nicola Miles-Wildin.

'The Flower Girls' plays at the following theatres:
16 –  20 October at the Drum Theatre Plymouth
23 –  27 October at  the Hampstead Theatre, Swiss Cottage, London
