Living without sex
Not everyone wants to have sex and whether for medical or other reasons, not everyone who wants to, can. But it doesn’t stop them wanting hugs, kisses, and all the intimacy of a relationship. As part of Radio 4’s Sex Lives of Us season, Woman's Hour looks at platonic couples. How possible is it to have a meaningful, intimate relationship without sex? How do you make such a relationship work? And how difficult is it to talk about not wanting sex, when the media is full of sexual imagery? Jane is joined by Susie King, founder of a new information and dating website Platonic Partners, and Paula Hall, a sexual therapist from the relationship advice service, Relate.Feedback from listeners in response to this item BBC Radio 4 Sex Lives Of Us Relate British Association for Sexual and Relationship Therapy Platonic Partners No Sex Dating Sexual Dysfunction AssociationDisclaimer
