How the system is failing vulnerable women.
Victims of domestic violence are being failed by the housing system despite changes to the Homelessness Act in 2002. A report by the Homeless charity Crisis says some local authorities do not understand the nature of a woman’s homeless situation and are not finding vulnerable women safe places to stay. We talk to the Chief Executive of Crisis, Leslie Morphy, Sally Jackson from Portsmouth City Council and we hear from Anna, who lived on the streets after being violently abused by her partner.CrisisDisclaimer
