Portmeirion Pottery 14 June 2007
Portmeirion
Portmeirion Village is an architectural gem set on a stunning piece of Welsh coastline. It became famous as the backdrop to the cult television series ‘The Prisoner’, but it's also recognised as the name behind some of the most popular pottery of the last thirty years. Caz Graham went to meet Susan Williams-Ellis, daughter of Portmeirion’s founder. She came up with the original groundbreaking ceramic designs and has just been honoured for her achievements.
