In the first of our series about the rise of contemporary female artists we meet Anya Gallaccio, a former Turner nominee and one of the original Brit-Art generation. She is best known for her large scale sculptural installations using organic materials like fruit, flowers and trees. Our reporter Felicity Finch went along to meet Anya in her London studio as she prepared for her current exhibition at the Thomas Dane Gallery in London accompanied by the artist and author Rebecca Fortnum.
