 Ventriloquism acts used to be a common part of variety shows and radio and TV schedules. Performers like Peter Brough, with dummy Archie Andrews, were household names. And who could forget Keith Harris and Orville? But ventriloquism has come a long way from its early years in music hall and vaudeville. We look at the past, present and future of ventriloquism.
