ParentlinePlus, a national charity which gives advice to parents has announced that there has been a sharp increase in calls from parents concerned about the amount of time their children spend at their computers. Some view this as a real addiction but is excessive computer use really a problem? With half term just finishing for some and just beginning for others, computer usage - is likely to be an issue in many homes. Ritula talks to Hannah Green of the think tank Demos, Suzie Hayman of Parentline Plus and to Duncan Harper, Head Teacher of New Woodlands School who takes a hands-on approach to dealing with children who won’t stop playing on their computers.
