As listeners to The Archers will know David has been having a lot of trouble coming to terms with his wife's infidelity with the Brookfield cowman. But how forgiving are we in real life when our partner errs?
Research suggests that the vast majority of us take a harsh view of adultery, but as many as sixty per cent of us own up to having an extra-marital affair.
