 Are they becoming the new fashion accessory?
It seems the underarm dog has become the latest ‘must have’ designer accessory. To be seen clutching not a handbag but a ‘puggle’, the combined result of a pug and a beagle, is to stay ahead in the glamour game.
Reporter Caroline Kenyon visited the luxury accessory shop for dogs, “Unleashed” in Wilmslow, Cheshire to meet the owner, Liz Wilson and some of her customers, human and canine.
Jenni is joined in the studio by Ryan O’Meara of K9 Magazine and Dr Beryl Gray, an expert on dogs in Victorian society, to discuss past and present female fashions for the canine.
