Living with Mother 03 Nov 2006
Life in the Hanson household changed irrevocably when Guardian columnist Michele Hanson’s elderly mother moved in. In her new book, ‘Living with Mother Right to the Very End' , Michele bemoans the fact that aged nearly sixty she still had to get her mother’s approval before she could invite her friends back for tea. A year after her death at the grand old age of 99, Michele and her daughter Amy tell Martha how 'living with mother' affected their lives.

'Living with Mother Right to the Very End' by Michele Hanson is published by Virago, ISBN-13: 978-1-84408-384-8.
