Will the new vaccines lead to complacency?

The number of women undergoing cancer smear tests is in steady decline with well over half a million women a year not responding to invitations for cervical screening. Now Gardosil, the first vaccine against cervical cancer is to be introduced into the UK. But is there a danger the vaccine might lead to a false sense of security, with even more women turning away from screening?

Julietta Patnick, Director of NHS Cancer Screening Programmes and Consultant Cytologist, Dr Amanda Herbert, join Jenni to discuss.
