Social
Two girls and their dogs; the teenage sheep dog handlers. 14 Sept 2006
It used to be known as One Man and His Dog, but the programme which for years showed the extraordinary relationship between a shepherd and his sheepdog was dropped from the tv schedules seven years ago. And, of course, the title would now be hopelessly out of date. Sophie Holt and Chloe Cropper are both 14 and they're cousins who live in Lancashire's Rossendale Valley. You'll find them up on the moors running their dogs - competing with and beating the older male farmers. Judy Merry went to meet them.
