International
Femicide in Mexico 30 June 2006
As Mexicans go to the polls to elect a new President this Sunday we look at the issue of femicide in Mexico - the brutal killing of women and girls just because they are female. The majority of the thousands of cases have gone unpunished, despite the outgoing government's commitment to human rights.

Martha Kearny is joined by Rupert Knox from Amnesty International and Adriana Ortiz-Ortega from the College of Mexico in Mexico City to discuss what progress has been made and what the prospects are for justice in the future.
