Julia Latcham Smith was repeatedly sexually abused by her father bewteen the ages of eight and thirteen. He is now in prison for the crime and Julia is backing a new campaign by the NSPCC encouraging children who are being abused not to suffer in silence.
As official figures show that more than half of all reported male rapes, and a third of female rapes are committed against children, Martha talks to Julia about what stops children speaking out, and asks the NSPCC what help is available for children who have been abused.
