Carisma Moss Side against gang culture 09 Mar 2006
Erinma Bell was on her way to a party in Manchester's Moss Side when her friend was shot 11 times. He survived, but it changed her life: from that moment she was determined to try and help stamp out the growing problem of gang culture which has claimed more than 25 lives in Manchester in the last five years.

In 2002 she helped found Carisma, an umbrella organisation that grew out of the 'Gangstop' marches, and focuses on stopping young people getting involved in gang culture.

Judy Merry reports.
