Freezing eggs - advance in fertility treatment? 10 Mar 2006
The case of Natallie Evans who recently lost her court battle to have a baby has raised questions about the rights of women going through IVF.

New techniques where the egg is frozen without being fertilised are becoming increasingly successful and could allow women to freeze their ‘good eggs’  until they feel ready for children - whatever their age.

Dr Gillian Lockwood, Medical Director of Midland Fertility Services and Josephine Quintavalle from Comment on Reproductive Ethics join Martha to explore the implications of these new advances in fertility treatment.
