A change in violence among young women? 21 Feb 2006
As headlines trumpet the heavy drinking and fighting of girls on a night out, Jenni talks to legal sociologist Kate O'Brien who's worked as a bouncer and Susan Batchelor from University of Glasgow who'll be delving into the statistics to ask what the changing nature of women's violence really is.

Kate O'Brien's paper on women and violence will be published in the British Journal of Sociology later this year. The co-authors are Professor Dick Hobbes from the LSE and Louise Westmarland from the Open University.
