 A recent study by the Training and Development Agency has revealed that a quarter of primary schools in England have no male teachers. There are even fewer men working in nursery schools. We often hear about boys needing male teachers as role models, but what about girls? What impact does this absence of men have on them, and what if anything can be done to attract more men into early years teaching?
