Sisterly love (and hate) through the ages

There’s no one way to sum up the sister relationship - best friend, worst enemy, greatest rival, closest confidente.  In her latest book, 'The Complete Book of Sisters', Luisa Dillner discusses sisters through the ages from the scrapping Mitfords, the loving Brontes, competing sisters such as Venus and Serena Williams and rival Hollywood sisters such Olivia de Havilland and Joan Fontaine. She talks to Jane about her anthology of sister love and relationships.

The Complete Book of Sisters by Luisa Dillner  is  published by Faber and Faber ISBN 978-0-571-24800-1
